Homemade Pizza Recipe with Detailed Steps

Ingredients for pizza: Flour 200g, Yeast 2g, Salt 3g, White Sugar 3g, Butter 15g, Warm Water 110g, Pizza Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Sausage (or Bacon), Sweet Corn Kernels, Peas, Bell Pepper Rings, Onion Dices, Carrot Dices.
Method for making pizza: Step 1: Melt the butter and pour it into the flour, add salt and mix well. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in water, then pour into the flour to form a smooth dough. Allow the dough to rise to double its size (I usually mix the dough at night, put it in a plastic bag, squeeze out the air when sealing, and leave some space. Let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour, then put it in the refrigerator to preserve freshness. In the morning, take out the dough and let it warm up at room temperature for a while, and it should have doubled in size).

Step 2: Knead the dough evenly, divide it into two portions, and let it rest for about 10 more minutes.

Step 3: While the dough is resting, cut the carrots, onions, bell peppers, blanched corn kernels, and peas, and place them on a baking tray. Roast in the oven at 200 degrees in the middle rack for 5 minutes to dehydrate.

Step 4: After dehydrating the ingredients, proceed to the next step.

Step 5: Take one portion of the dough and roll it out to a diameter of 22cm (for a 9-inch baking tray), and use a fork to poke holes evenly in the base (I made one 9-inch thin crust and one 8-inch thick crust, according to personal preference).

Step 6: Spread a layer of pizza sauce on the pizza base, sprinkle with oregano, and a layer of cheese.

Step 7: Add bacon, corn kernels, peas, bell pepper rings, onion dices, and carrot dices.

Step 8: Sprinkle another layer of cheese and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 16 minutes.

Step 9: For convenience, you can also make a square pizza (200g of dough), covering the entire baking tray.

Step 10: The square pizza is larger, so it can be baked for 2 more minutes.

Pizza cooking tips: It’s best to make your own pizza sauce. I’ve compared store-bought and homemade, and there’s a significant difference in taste. If time allows, it’s recommended to make it yourself. I usually follow the recipe by Jun Zhi for pizza sauce. There are tricks to making delicious dishes, and I have little tips for each of my recipes. You can search for ‘pizza’ to directly view my recipes!
